I don't agree with Chase playing for England but ATEOTD a strong International game is imperative for English Rugby League. If, in the short term we play "none English players" but, in the long term, that gets more young English people playing the game then it's a good thing. English cricket is starting to pick up again, whose at the forefront of that? Pietersen, Strauss, Kieswetter, Morgan. England Rugby Union have players like Hape playing for them. We NEED a strong England team.

I'm fine with it. If he's committed to playing for England and not just bummed that he didn't get the call from NZ that is.
But he seems settled at Cas and it will unquestionably improve the team. Who will play 7? Brough is in terrible form and doesn't deserve a shirt.

If Chase must play he'll be shifted to 7, Widdop at 6. |
