Apologies if i've missed it, but why the delay. Surely Cas could start building once full planning is approved now.

A road needs to be built before the cranes etc can get to the site, there's still some clearing & piling to do as well, so work might start straight away on the site, but there's quite a bit to do in regards to access before the actual frame of the stadium goes up - the pitch can go in while the road is being done though I'd presume.

I thought the ground works had already been done? So when is the actual start date of all the associated components of the stadium?

With a completion stated in time for the 2013 season at a guess I'd say probably about June-July this year for the road and the rest of the piling & land clearing will probably start straight away then when that's done the pitch (or at least the area for it) will be put down too.



It's quite hard to say at the minute, RW says the money is in place now for the stadium to be built in one phase so the above is based on that actually being true and everything being in place to start as soon as they get the green light.



Also based on that website placed on the Wakey board, the actual stadium itself looks to be January for construction.

Surprising as I thought it was going to be a 48 (or less) week build and ready for the start of the 2012 season when the detailed plans were being prepared last year?

Why could all this not have been done earlier if as you say everything was in place including the finances, and you were that confident or were you only presuming that as well.

Because you need full PP to do things such as piling, I presume?
