I thought the raison d'etre of the three year window was to facilitate clubs to grow steadily and more organiclaly rather than looking for knee jerk (and generally expensive) quick fixes.

Yes in terms of players, not incompetent, unprofessional coaches who are ruining clubs like Lowes is.

Noble is being replaced at the end of the season so won't be sacked.

Surely the coach can only change things as the players develop or are changed, no?



Good to see a lot of knee jerking taking place on here though, it's only just turned March FFS.

Warrington are on their worst run for 12 years, and he still hasn't been sacked. Nothing knee-jerk there.

Warrington look terrible, does lowes actually know how to coach?

That just means the clubs are safe, not their jobs.

I think its between Lowes and Macnamara really.. or maybe throw Noble in the frame.. all teams that play Leeds within the next coming weeks. I would say Warrington will give Lowes 2 or 3 weeks to turn it around, Noble needs to win the next two games, especially Leeds, and Macnamara to keep all the way up too Leeds.

So we gnash our teeth at the failure to give young British players a chance, but young British coaches have to work miracles in minutes or they're out the door. Right...

It seems to be the way forward, dump the Brit coaches and bring in a Aussie, then crow about hom many Brit players you have in the squad.

How many of these coaches in Super League actually have professional coaching qualifications?
