Its bad news, but it happens. The Roosters just simply cant compete with that offer. There not the first club to bring through a player and then lose him due higher offers from another team. I doubt they will let SKD go now.
Could be worse, they could be Manly.

| For big tough lads Rugby League players can be a bit soft when it comes to home sickness. I don't hear about it in soccer where players move all around the world in they're careers.
Why young twenty something lads can't play rugby in a country that shares the same language and similar cultures is beyond me.
I lived in the states for 3 years in my early-mid 20s and that was without a half a million pound annual wage to live on.

| Went to the NRL, failed, going back to Wigan. Was bound to happen.
Easy to blame it on his partner.

| Why do RL players from the north of England have such a problem with moving away from there? Whether it's London or the southern hemisphere, players repeatedly seem to have a problem with relocating. It seems much rarer for southern hemisphere players moving around there or to Europe to have problems.

They probably get sick of being surrounded by uncultured, obnoxious, arrogant bogans everyday.

| Didn’t the N.Z Warriors pay Wigan a hefty sum for S.T’s services?
I would have thought they would want a fair wedge back, interesting times.
Will the big fish return to his little pond, or will he be seduced by a new challenge?

The funny thing is how many fans have complained in the past about Aussie/NZ players leaving citing homesickness. Now its the other way round and its fine.
I personally don't get it. I haven't been back to the UK in over 2 years and have no intention of going anytime soon. I wonder if this has more to do with not being the big name player he was in Wigan/Super League. Superstar in Super League, decent player in the NRL.

| I worked on cruise ships and they're was a lot of Aussie guests and the above description is quite apt. They are very uncultured
And in all seriousness. As much as it pains me to say it, it's a boost to SL for him to rejoin the comp

| At least we can see hardaker and Sam on an even keel and let's see who is the best FB in England. As Sam at the moment is a first pick just because he plays in the NRL
