There's a world of difference between SD and HD and it's something I've moaned about in respect of Premier Sports for a good while; it's about time they sorted it out.

HD is only really noticeable on larger screens. On 32" and lower there isn't much difference (well not so much that it is worth paying extra for). I can see the difference on my TV but only because it is a large screen tv.

I think there's a big difference, especially with sport. I can tell a huge difference on the 37" tv in my front room but can also tell a decent difference on the 19" tv I have in the bedroom.

Whether it's worth paying extra for is entirely down to the individual and their situation.

Absolutely.On my Sky HD box you can still put on the SD Sky Sports channel and if you flick it between the HD channel there is a huge difference in quality.



I had Premier Sports in the 2013 season but due to being dicked by them i didn't bother last year, but will probably re subscribe when they go to HD.

I'm sure there is a difference but I don't think it's worth paying for. I rarely watch TV at home, I only really watch it in the pub.
