The less overpaid aussies in our game the better surely. Even if it lessons the competition a little. We need to foster an environment whereby the next generation are given their chance ahead of journeymen and where it doesn't pay to get in a load of average aussies. But when relying on youth means you risk missing the play offs or finishing in the bottom 2, what do you do?

The ' big ' clubs will imediatley request for an increase in the SL salary cap , even to the detriment of the competitiveness of SL , and quite possibly to the detriment of current and future expansion plans

Sounds good, should happen, but could cause problems for the talent in our league. We've already lost Burgess, Ellis and Graham to the NRL, if they have more money than more could go. That might be good for the starting line up of the England team, but if the best Aussies and English end up playing in the NRL how are we going to bring on our youngsters. Who will they learn from?

Super League has nearly a hundred overseas players and your moaning about 3 English players?
