Just seen on Sky that a friendly has been arranged in October prior to the four nations...now heres the bit that amused me..the week after the only Welsh based team in Super League moved to Newport, a friendly is arranged and will be played at (drum roll please..) Bridgend, Brewery Field..the place the only Welsh based SL team have just left!!!! I may be being a little picky and this may all have been arranged before Celtic moved and i am posting this slightly tounge in cheek. Hope its closer on the scoreboard than last time

- a) Crusaders played one game at Newport. They're still based at Bridgend. They'll move to Newport for two years next year. After that, afaik, the plan is to move back to the new stadium being built in Bridgend.



- b) The friendly hasn't been arranged this week. It's been in the calendar since the beginning fo the year.

- b) Rodney Parade is the rugby ground in Newport. Brewery Field is the rugby ground in Bridgend.

EXPLAINS WHY YOU WERE EXILED

Afraid you're wrong on that one tb - it's been in the pipeline, but it appeared to be a toss up between Newport, Bridgend, Neath and Llanelli with regards to the venue.

Thought the venue at Neath had been confirmed myself.

Boring match....Wales will be smashed. Just a competitive training session before we play France and smash them. We'll then get cocky and think we're all that before NZ and Aus whip us. All you have to do is repeat this process every year and you've got the 4 nations as it is and will be for some time.



Guess its the only option, we just need to see it out so France and Wales can get better and actually give us a contest. Then, maybe we'll have a competitive midseason fixture like they do down under!

Thats how it goes.

I can see it now, the match will be played at Brewery Field on a glue pot of a pitch, this will keep the score down.

The RFL will announce Wales have made good progress and congratulate themselves on the Crusaders being allowed into superleague.

Does anybody else think our professional game is run by amateurs.
