Seems as though the CPC Bears - a Carmarthen based team in the conference currently are very interested in becoming a professional outfit and joining Championship 1 in 2013... Welsh rugby league seems to be coming on nicely.

Agreed here too. I don't think many fans would complain if expansion teams make their way through the championships before appying for SL.

Bear in mind that this approach was tried in the 1980s and pretty much failed. Nottingham, Kent, South Wales all fell by the wayside.
Hopefully this time it's based on pre-existing clubs that have infrastructure and junior development so it has a far better chance of succeeding.
