Did anybody else expect us to have more pledges by now? I would have thought 5000 would have come fairly quickly.

The thought had crossed my mind to be honest.



I thought 5k would come very quickly and then slowly creep up to the 10k.

However I hadn't thought of the facts that the mailshot hasn't gone out yet, the leaflets haven't gone out and kids don't count towards the total.



When I thought about that sort of thing, it's actually not that bad for 4 days.

I also thought surely all 6000 ticket holders from this year will buy one at this price, ok a few might have given up but then i realised does this figure include kids tickets? If so, how many adult ticket holders do we have? say 4/5000. Hope i am just worrying over nothing but is 10000 looking a long way off?

I don't think so it's not even a week since the annoucement and we are already over a third of the way there. It needs pushing on Radio Leeds and the Super league show though.



One thing i've heard mentioned though from a few non Rugby league supporting people is that they'd buy a ticket at 60 quid but not if it's loads more and are waiting to see if the figure's reached first. They are put off from pledging by the idea that if they pledge and the figure isn't reached that they'll by stuck having to buy one at the usual sort of amount.



The club need to impress it more on people that they are only pledging to buy one at 60 quid not any other amount so that they get their pledges in.

I also wonder if a family ticket only counts as 1 pledge? I think it should be 2 (for the 2 adults)

Mission, the family ticket counts as 2 adults.

I know directly of 2 people who did not attend at all this season and only a couple of times ever previously who have signed and there are going to be loads in that position (and I don't know many people in total!!). Additionally, there are going to be a lot of kids individually signed up and kids as part of families signed on too (like my two for example). I'll worry more when the 400 a day increases dry up.

Remember, if the Bulls play this sensibly, every new decent signing will also give the total a boost; drip-feeding the news of new signings will keep it ticking over.

If we can't get 10000 adults from a population this size, at these prices, then I really do shake my head.

indeed. I pledged for myself initially but after talks with my wife, we're going to get all the family signed up. Do I have to pledge my little ones? They're under 8 so will be free anyway?
