It was never going to be great attendance. Crappy weather, team form poor going into game, expencive tickets??, on the tv and opposition had a premier league game to stay up.
As said above non of the attendance were brilliant

To be fair, it's not that odd. It was down to the hardcore today - much like those who go to the away matches where there are often far better atmospheres than at Odsal. Very much an "all in it together" attitude and really pleased I made the effort to get over the pennines to get to the match. |

but we didnt have any away fans to 'swell' our gate ....so 3,000 i didnt think was that bad compared to some teams 'home' turnouts !! |

Can you do any maths? 6000 attendance at Odsal, 50/50 Bulls/Wigan - so thats 3000ish Bulls fans. That would be the same as your total attendance suggesting you had less home fans to a game not on TV. |

I wasn't trying to suggest we had more home fans than Bradford did today, i was merely pointing out that while other crowds were very low eg Salford, Saints etc they had away fans at their games too which makes their home support very poor indeed compared to our crowd which was all home fans and matched up and in fact beat the other crowds with away fans there too. |

The RFL need to urgently look into reviving the Challenge Cup because the free entrance to the 4th round hasn't worked because crowds are still down.
I think it should be moved back to the end of May like the old times and start the season with the 4th and 5th rounds, quarter finals. |
