I'd be surprised if Bradford didn't offer Crookes a new deal. That's not to say another club won't make him an offer the Bulls can't match, but I'd be surprised if they didn't make him any offer at all. Also it looks like he's now a first choice player at Bradford (fully deserved), so I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to stay. I sincerely hope that we're starting to see a set of young players coming through who want to play and be successful at Bradford specifically, it certainly looks that way.

Like i say iam not sure how true it is, but it has not come from anyone who's a Hull fan.

So, we offered him a two year deal when he couldn't get in the side even when we were poop. But we don't offer him a deal when he's established himself in the team and is scoring tries regularly

Someone at the club told me Crookes will be a Hull player next season. I'm willing to put money on it.



No-one has mentioned it that I have seen but Crookes' attempt to prevent Saints' last try was phenomenal covering.

It was, he busted a gut to get over there from his side of the field.

Crookes has been awesome this year, not just for his tries, but the way he returns the ball and his defence. Its brilliant to see him chase wingers on the opposite side of the field to him if they make a break.

Great covering to catch Wellens in the 1st half too.

Hardly something to put on your CV. It would be close between Wellens & Brendan Hill (current model).

How mean spirited. it was superb, and Wellens' comparative lack of pace is not at all the point. You might as well criticise Kearney for failing to get past the slow Wellens instead of applauding the miraculous full-back's tackle that it actually was.

Typical RL fan exaggerating the negatives, you should take over from Jonathan Davies as a RL commentator.
