However I did leave early and I've never done that before either.

I sat there frozen to death and bloody miserable and quiet (unusual for me) till the bitter end.

For the first time ever I went early it was on the hour mark when Chris Hicks strolled in for the try. It was just a spur of the moment thing I could watch any more of the drivel on offer.

Must admit some sympathetic neutrals watching it on TV did say they were surprised I stayed till the end. Guess I just felt it was the right thing to do. Or the dumb thing...?

I booed in Walkabout in Wigan, it was my tribute to the Wigan fans who watch Wigan home games in there and shout 'forward!' and 'gerrum onside!' at the telly.. and also boo.

I stayed all game too. It took a lot though to stay behind, but good banter with some folks around me and a woman who was close to going kung-fu crazy on people booing made me stay, just for the laugh.

I also booed. But at about three in the afternoon when I was playing at ghosties with the 17 month old.

I thought Eddievan was going to go over and deck the guy who was shouting for Macca Out rather unpleasantly in the next block, so that's the real reason I stayed to see that...

The free flowing beer did help numb the pain a little mind!
