I've tried most of the readily available supermarket malts, and I've tended to prefer the lighter more fragrant ones like Speyside and Macallan. Any more of these types to recommend ?



Not too fussed on real ales, but my favourite tipple at the mo' has to 'Leffe brune'

I like my whiskey but I don't have nearly enough money to actually buy it. Therefore I've never really tried many nad haven't had owt better than a 15 year old Glenfiddich. And even that was a present! Parents usually bring me a large bottle of 12 year old back from their jollies though. Which they did about 2 weeks ago and the bottle's nearly finished.

It would be nice to have a bit of West Yorks contribution. As a Donny lad I know most of the places they refer to, but have changed beyond all recognition from the days when hand-pulled beer was as rare as a very rare thing.
