| Quote Sherbert Dip="Sherbert Dip"It's not the decline of Bradford under MacNamara that worries me....it's the fact that he's the England coach!!
I've yet to meet a Bradford fan who would defend MacNamara, and I know many disillusioned Bulls fans'"
Theres quite a few that post on here, but slowly but surely most are realising that Macca is just not upto the task and never has been.

| Quote Spannerz="Spannerz"Macca's take on the game;
Steve McNamara was pleased with the level of his side's second-half performance and was adamant it merited more.
"I thought our second-half performance probably deserved enough for us to go and win the game," he said.
"I felt we were going to go on and do that; we had the momentum there.
"It was special, freakish, whatever you want to call it, but Jordan Tansey can do that and it has cost us.
"But I think we played pretty well in the second half and showed the way to go for us.
"We need to continue that for 80 minutes next week."
What wisdom!.....'"
Usually rubbish that macca comes out with same old record. Boring rubbish

| I'm not sure he can see the link with how we play and how the interchanges affect it. Poor in the first half and better when he sent Addy on (Worrincy going off). Lynch playing for best part of 80 mins and Koppy playing his longest and best yet. Hall playing for about 30 mins and Crossley getting probably 20 mins, no effective use of his Props. Surley he can figure out how he can more effectively spell the props? He needs to look at performances from the last couple of weeks and be brutal with those underperformers, plenty of young lads waiting for a chance! I actually expect more of the same until the end of the season, he's nothing if not consistant!!!!

He will still get the usual support however.
Another defeat and he is still coming out with the same old lines after the game.
The more intelligent on here do finally seem to realise that he is a complete dud but still some remain that still rate the guy! Astonishing!

| Taking Addy off was a disgrace. I also think it was the wrong decision to spell Langley when he was clearly on a roll..

| It's quite confusing why when something had clearly been changed for the better at half time, he then withdraws multiple players who were playing well and loses the momentum. His in play changes appear no better than 4 years ago when we lost to Wigan.

| It seems to me that McNamara's interchange policy is one of two things:
1) Interchanges planned before the game and doesn't deviate from the plan, regardless of how someone is playing or how tired they're not (hence why Addy came off, even though he didn't look tired and was playing very well).
2) Thinks he has to use all 12 interchanges no matter what, hence why the likes of Langley went off for less than 5 minutes before coming back on again.

| I wonder...just wonder...whether the interchanges are being (unduly?) influenced by these sensor gadgets they are supposed to be wearing? Computer he say man's readings say he knackered therefore computer say spell man? Not sure I remember the extent to which they provide real-time in-game info as opposed to shedloads of data for processing after?
Been wondering for a while given I too have become increasingly perplexed of late.

If it is, they must be wondering if Glenn Hall's is faulty due to how quickly it comes up with "he's buggered, take him off".

I didn't think the RFL had permitted the GPS system to be used in competitive games only in friendlies.

| Quote Nothus="Nothus"Even the greatest coach in the world can do nothing about some of the amateurish mistakes we made today.
Sykes with his intercepted passes
L'Estrange taking the kick off over the dead ball line.
The loose passes that flew straight into touch
Not good enough, and it's the players to blame more than the coaching most of the time.'"
I would also point to:
22-22, 5th tackle, Bulls 20 metres out centre field, on the open side 5 Hull players offside by some distance (Fitzgibbon acknowledges by screaming at his fellow teamates); ball goes blind side and potential for repeat set lost with Hull on the backfoot.
25 metres out, last tackle, ball with Platt (shouldn't have been) he makes woeful cross-field kick which ends up in front of the Coral Stand fire exit steps.
Same score, ball with Sykes, kick to air (once again) Tansey picks it, quick step....Craig Hall try.
Last set of the game, L'Estrange in possession attempting to play the ball, 5 seconds on the clock. Defender engages him in a wrestle, failed to play the ball. Game over. Poor concentration.
A game that was there to be won.

That's also the one that ended up with Platt, via Sykes, who SHOULD have been kicking the ball, but instead decided to pass to a non-kicking centre with no options.

| from all your friends in the big city down the road.
At this stage of the season what you need is too be consistant
Maybe if the RFL extend the play-offs to the top 10 you might sneak in?

I think we could do with it being a top 12.
