I remember Nobby saying that he valued attitude and "good blokeness" over talent when it came to recruitment. I wonder if it's going away from this principle that has cost us. Just seems that the last couple of months have demonstrated a lack of character in the squad - able to get themselves in a position to break into the eight, only to flop when it matters cf twelve points up at Cas, six and a man up v Catalans, the four pointer vs Hull.



Frustrating but unsurprising. Hope for a bit more backbone in the second half, hope but not sure I expect.

Who really expected anything different. 1 step forward 3 step back all season. No consistancy, poor basic skills and bad decision making. I think that is true on and off the field.
