On the other hand though, if everyone did it, then the club would have to act wouldn't they?

Well I'm sure his teddy-out-of-cot I'll-show-em fit will make HIM feel a lot better. Quite how it helps solve any of the club's problems, or helps to find the money to pay for a new coach though quite escapes me. But at least he's shown them, so that's alright!



Sounds to me like a glory supporter.

Too many people HAVE done it, as we see with the attendances. And all it has achieved is the club having precisely no money for anything. Maybe calling in the administrators is how the club would have to act - maybe the stay-aways would be happy then?

How would you make them come them? How can you make someone who is totally peed off with things at the club come back? You have to see their point of view.

You cant "make" them do anything and whatever the validity of their point of view, but they must realise that they have to put something in to get something out.

I doubt they would glory in the demise of the Bulls just because a particular coach had been appointed.

Maybe they would reflect that it wasnt a decision so important.

IMO that is a pathetic reason. Don't come because you don't want to watch the team lose, or capitulate or self-destruct, by all means. I can empathise with that! Middle of last season it started to feel like a punishment trekking up to Odsal, although I still did anyway, and anyone giving THAT as the reason would have been hard to argue against . Don't come because you are fed up with getting rained and snowed on by all means. It was bloody arctic last night, and we are only six weeks off longest day for heaven's sake! But to say you won't come solely because xyz is at the club is pretty juvenile, I'd suggest?

Why? If you believe strongly that person X is responsible for the demise of a once great club and you have done everything else to express your views to the board, what other route is open to you?

Better that, then turning up every week and bitching maybe? At least they are true to their word.

Leaving aside some peoples' refusal to recognise the financial realities that, more than anything, are the reasons for the club's fall from where it once was, does that not suggest those people were indeed glory supporters, only interested in turning up and watching a team that is winning most of the time?

People can dress it up however they like, but the main reason a large majority stopped attending is because the success dried up. Obviously there will be some exceptions.



If we reach the CC Final I expect we'll all see some familiar faces in their 2005 replica shirts!
