I'd personally like to see them try to make up a team by picking 1 player from each team plus 3 coaches picks. Might not be the strongest team and would probably take some thinking about but it would create a bit of interest for every club.



From a bulls point of view, it looks like we won't have a player in either team. Not sure about anyone else but my interest in international games increases if a bulls player is involved. I'm sure supporters of other teams may think on similar lines.

Not for me, but then I've always seen International RL as a different thing.



Sadly, 90% of supporters don't. In fact, it infuriates me when I attend internationals (and I go to most) and all you can hear is people cheering on players that play for their clubs, and ignoring others. Even to the point where some will slag off their rival club's players, even though they're playing for England too.



That sort of attitude doesn't exist in sports with thriving International games (at least not from the majority anyway).

Know exactly what you mean but its certainly not as I view it. I've watch internationals at Headingly before. The large family of Leeds fans stood infront of me boo'd every time a Bulls player got the ball, which was quite often as we had Peacock, Fielden and co at the Bulls at that time. It totally spoilt the game for me. Not because they didn't like Bradford but because I couldn't believe people could be so petty. It was England playing.



I must admit that an England team comprising only Wigan, Leeds and saints players doesn't have the same appeal to me as one which has a few other club representatives. I'd Still support them the same though.

Who are we playing after that game? I'll vote for players from that team then.

Surely, the more cynical fan will log on and vote for players from rival teams and leave out his own team players in order to provide a disadvantage to other teams.

The coach still has 9 picks for the 22 man squad and then is free to pick the 17 he wants from that. The voting is only for 13 of the 22. Should make up for any weird voting. Its just a gimmick in the end and I don't think it will limit the coach's choice too much.

Can see England getting a tonking personally.

While I love seeing Bulls get rep honours, I wouldn't be dismayed if we didn't feature in this, just as long as we take advantage by doing Saints on the Sunday.
