Disappointing really, such a great start, but it was always going to be hard with 14 fit players in that heat, especially losing our best prop after 3 seconds! We competed well for 50 mins but ultimately ran out of players. Ninth now - I have a terrible feeling that it's going to be hard to get out of here now. Credit to the boys for the effort today, but ultimately undone by the better team on the day. Well, in fact by one player. Outstanding by Macguire, we made it easy for a couple though!



And the blindness to forward passes is really beginning to p!$$ me off now. If it's not going to be enforced then just do away with the rule. If human eyes don't work then is there really no technology that can see that a ball is travelling 2 metres forward? It's getting silly now.

And just as we get a few players back - we lose three more. Just par for the course really.

And it will be interesting to see how many matches Webb gets for his elbow in Kearney's face. Two matches has been the standard all season, one for an early plea. So let's wait and see....

Just not good enough unfortunately, Leeds never even got out of first gear either. Losing the players didn't help, but stupid decision making and errors cost us a lot more.



Gale unfortunately is not turning into the player I had hoped as well, still fairly early days I guess but I am unimpressed.

I've got to the point now when I'm surprised if a forward pass is spotted. Then again even when they use the video referee they still manage to get it wrong, our third try was a very dubious decision.

Yes. I have to agree. Ganson was unusually genorous tonight.

Weird that Thaler was unfit to ref us yet ok to do the game after.

I'm not too disappointed. I thought we competed with them toe-to-toe for about 60 minutes, but were undone by lack of numbers together with an inability to turn pressure into points.



That spell when we had them pinned on their line for about ten minutes in the second half, and then for them to go downfield and score, well - that really killed us didn't it? We really needed to post s try at the stage to pull it back to 24-24. Anything could have happened from there...



With everything thats been going off the field this season, all we can really demand is 100% effort and I feel that we're getting that.

Wasn't it Silverwood who was injured? And they just shuffled the refs around? All very confusing!

It appears we have to try to score on every play! I think because of the lack of creation in attack players are forcing things, as you say normally in impossible positions.
