I cant belive what Andy Lynch has said in the T&A today, saying the fans should get off the players back, because most fans have never even played rugby!!! There supposed to be professional sportsmen, the fans have every right to be angry when they are spending hard earned cash, and they put in a performance like that at Huddersfield. It would have cost a family of 4 about £80 for that game, and they didnt justify paying that, they were pathetic.

Okay Okay we had the rants on another thread, enough already, jees. Yeah we didn't play well at all in fact we were shocking against Hudds but I don't care what anyone says Potter wrote that game off. Now is a new week lets get behing the lads tomorrow.

I assume most of the ranting has come from the Zoo over on the T&A comments?



I think most supporters of stable mind can understand that this team and coaching set up are not going to be at their best until the 2nd part of the season. Even then we are a few quality players short of being serious challengers IMO. Players criticising fans (even if directed at the small minority) never tends to go down well. I can understand his frustration though.

Think Mr Lynch was a bit off with what he has said. These guys are paid good money to compete in every game and they didn't last week.



Every fan has the right to voice their opinion. The players are big boys and should be able to take it.



Maybe he should prove the fans wrong in another way and stuff Cas tomorrow.

I can't believe what I have just read from Andy there, Huddersfield is an expensive do and to see our team get stuffed like we did every fan was entitled to their opinion. Personally I didn't boo them off but I was left angry from the performance they put in.



I think instead of publishing an article in the T&A asking the boo boys to lay off they should put in a good performance tomprrow and shut them up that way.

think that would be the best course of action they could take tbh.

That's spot on for mine. I've not heard any booing in truth and I haven't been on the T&A's semi-literate rant board for yonks but yeah, the vast majority know the score and have a bit more patience than that.

Mr Lynch needs to understand that its us fans that pay his wages. As for his rant if they had turned summat in than utter shiite we wouldn't be moaning like we are.

I think somebody needs to give Andy a PR course, what he's said goes against everything the club are trying to do in marketing terms and he doesn't come across at all well. I was at Huddersfield and I heard the boos and to be fair they were justified, we'd been cheering them on and I think fans have the right to show when they've paid good money and the team don't seem to be performing. As other have said nobody expects miracles with the player turnover but I don't think we expected that score and performance either.



Performance is forgotton so why come out with an article dragging it back up again?

I like the way that Lynch says it is 5 percent of the fans. WTF? Based on what? I am sorry Andy, but there is one sure fire way to get the fans behind you, and slating them in the paper is probably not it...
