Great win at a place we don't often get a result. Shame i slept in and missed it.

Scrappy, but the radio reporters talked about how good the defence was. And taking 2 points against a play off position rival though has got to be good news

On another note, how awful is BCB's coverage?

sounds like potter worked on the defence all week. just need to get on top of basics like keeping hold of ball and forward passes and we shouldnt be far off

Yorkshire sport was ok to listen to. Seemed some bias towards Castleford, but that might have just been selective hearing.

They are fantastic. The worse the referee is the better they are.

Defence was great for most of the match. We had better shape in attack. Gale & Sammut had more options, partly because our pack stood up better, but also because our movement off the ball was better.



Still lots to work on - ball retention, composure, penalties etc. What was encouraging was that even though we lost composure, we calmed down and brought it back, we wouldn't have done that last season.



Gale is going to be an important player for us. Langley got through a heap of work and Whitehead showed why we've missed him. Once elima and mnm are available I think our pack will do well.
