Bit out of the blue. I'm presuming with Locke arriving today we'll be moving Evalds to the wing, so no room for Danny. Been solid for us and can score tries.

bit of an odd signing. we need to get the ball to the wingers first.

I'm puzzled on this, we have Elliott Kear, Jamie Foster, Luke George, Sam Wood and now Danny Williams. Doesn't make any sense.

Can he play prop?

Yes, winger is our problem area. We have scored very few 90m break away tries this season.

I actually rate Danny Williams. Unfortunately we seem to be strong in that position. But maybe that tells us something about the attitude of the current players.



As Frustrating as it is, I can't see us been able to get a prop on loan now. Why would a club loan someone out at this stage of the season.

Someone needs to explain the logic behind this signing to me, because right now I'm just not seeing it.

Anyone know when he is off contract? Maybe Jimmy is looking at players that might be interested in signing for the club after 2014.



At least this will give him the opportunity to 'try before you buy'

Jamie Foster has just tweeted 'Exciting Times', so I'm presuming that there's a deal on in Nandos, or he's off.



Maybe Danny has been signed to take his place, not playing but tweeting a lot?

I can only think he is a possible signing for next year. Other than that, I am completely puzzled at signing a winger. Fans will not be fooled by just any signing. He is a good player so lets hope he is a long term replacement.

He's lost a bit of his pace but he still knows his way to the try line. If it does turn into a permanent deal he'll definitely go having done a great job for us and nothing negative from me.

Bizarre signing.
