Quote danlong="danlong"For me its got to be:
-Sheriffe
-Platt
-Worrincey
-Reardon
-Sykes
-Hall
-Sculthorpe
-Kopczak
In our prime in the 2003 season, none of these players would be anywhere near the first team. If we want to re-find that form, we need to sign some quality players and lose the deadwood.'"
Would agree with the above, but I would add Godwin and Halley to the list.
Lets have a look at your choices....
-Sheriffe - never been good enough. Crap signing originally yet still only "shows promise".. Crap defender and nowhere near a good enough attacker.
-Platt - maybe improving but that was not really hard. Where is his best position? For me it would be Headingley.
-Worrincey (sic) Not even taking an "e" can make this chump anything less than dreadful. Another Macca master signing - a simply awful player.
-Reardon - I said at the time it was a crap signing. I was 100% spot on. Should be on his way to Wakefield. Either the jail or the Wildcats.
-Sykes - nuff said but the previous diddy in charge of the team gave him three more years! If ever anything proved how crap McNamara was than that deal sums it up.
-Hall - utter utter utter p!sh. Terrible player.
-Sculthorpe - Who?
-Kopczak - Never be a capable prop as long as his ar$e points south. Sadly he will be retained as he is "home grown". I also have a collection of home grown. They are turnips. Uncanny really.
