Quite a few Wire fans early in the season were quite confidence we would not finish in the top 4, so thats one prediction thats failed.

And many Saints fans predicted Wigan would finish below Saints. It's normal pre season bravado.

Serious question, would you guys rather come to us in the play-offs? Or another trip to the pie dome? Personally i think we are in great form at the mo, i would see a play-off game against Wigan as more preferable to you lot?! Wigan havent been as good of late than they have been earlier on in the year......................On paper it looks to be a Wigan v. Wire final, but i am a believer of 'never write off the saints' , only team that could potentially 'gatecrash' peoples final predictions, Leeds are gone IMO....



Personally, i won't believe the Wire hype until we got to the final, il admit (as alot of my fellow fans should), we got carried away last year, and took Leeds lightly and got burnt, cant see Sir Tony allowing that again, but il believe it when i see it!!

I'd rather go to Wire anyday - you guys are way above any other team in the competition at the moment when you're on form and would slaughter us wholesale if you turned up, but you're prone to the odd slip especially in the playoffs and the pressure will be on you big style to deliver in the semi - if we were somehow to score a couple of quick tries at your gaff for instance then I reckon your crowd would get on the team's back very, very early and extremely vociferously and panic could set in as it has many times in the past. With Wigan you pretty much know exactly what you're going to get every game however and even if they don't play well on the day then they'll still have enough to beat us more times than not.



Long story short - we've a better chance of both winning and being slaughtered at Wire than we have at Wigan where we'll probably just tamely lose by 8-10 points or something.
