What's happening to you is what happens to all great teams in the end; you have lost the core of your team, who were head and shoulders above the opposition only a couple of years ago.



You've had a great run in the cup, and you've consistently been the best team in SL.



The challenge now is not to go the way of Wigan, who are mediocre, with lazy players and a single idea coach.

We are actually not far off a good team really, 2 players and a good coach.

We have actually proved we are not far off because in the last 2 years we have been 3rd, just one game from old trafford and also 2 semi finals in the cup in 3 years. This shows we are not far from a bad side and we have shown we can get the big results against leeds and saints.

The CC dream had to come to an end one day and unfortunately today was that day, but we are still lucky to be in the position we are in now.

We were beaten fair and square, but we can't back up a big performances, which isn't looking good for the play offs.



Well done Huddersfield, let this year be their year for the CC

its good for the game that wire and hudds are going to contest the final and it's showing how the salary cap is turning our sport into a very competitive one,saints have been the benchmark and best side for the last few years but from now on no team can expect to be dominant for such a long period of time.

That's the same for all teams now. This competition's intensity is improving year on year. We used to have a big four then it was a big two and now the big two are back in the pack. There is no clear gap between the big two and the rest now. Super Duper League has arrived.

alright today we were beaten, but were still top of the league, we just didnt look interested at all and we need to get back to the way we played under daniel anderson - IMO we'll be fine theres no worries

I don't think it is the end of an era but i do thing that it is the beginning of a period of Saints doing very well each year but no where near what they were.

The game went the way I thought. We camped out on there line and didn't score.



It was same last week and against the wildcats. I've never known a saints team spend so much time on there line and not score.



Our kicking game improved slightly on last week but our attack is worst I've seen for along time.



As everyone has said we are in urgent need for at least 1 prop but I think we need a winger with pace. Our backs are to slow and it's starting to show more each week.



Next year soliola will add some pace but our back 3 are slowest in the league by a mile.

i said it at the wigan game and ill say it today when have saints EVER lacked invention or composure 10 meters out? .Today exemplifys how much we miss long,wilkins invisible,wellens running through on 5th tackle players out of position,flat as a pancake .Potter inherited a good side and hes detracted albeit ANDERSONS ALWAYS GONNA BE A HARD ACT TO FOLLOW,but for me the missing x factor is potter he just doesnt have the ability to bring anything new .ok cant lay it all on pansy but for me he is certainly the major factor in saints listless lack lustre attack new coach for me potter cant bring anything to the table sorry to potter loyalists but thats my pennys worth
