Agents can get good deals for players, and stop them being exploited, however the agents themselves often exploit the players and imo give them dubious advice, purely and simply so the agent can benefit.
I wonder for example if Danny Brough is under Offiahs agency, as it would not surprise me if Offiah would then try to do a double deal of getting Brough to Saints and Eastmond to Wigan or Wire.
Simply spreading the rumour re Brough could be used to unsettle Saints youngsters to convince them to move on.'"
Why should Offiah cause you any more worries than the current crop of agents do? |

Something is clearly amiss with Kyle Eastmond. In the precious few times he has played, he has made an impact in almost all of them. He seems to have it all, the cocky attitude, the passing game, pace, a step and a clever kicking game. Being a midget his defense isn't great but he could always hide on the wing like Long himself does. He seems a perfect match for our vacant scrum half spot next season.
This all makes it surprising that he isn't given any game time at scrum half, or anywhere for that matter. Games like the Celtic home game are perfect occasions to give him the time to learn the position in the side he would be leading the following season. But he isn't even in the 17.
It makes you wonder if there is something going on behind the scenes with his contract, another player signing in his position for next season or both.
If the club expect him to step up and replace Longy next season with absolutely no experience then it's incredibly harsh.

Everything is a compromise between success now and success more long term. So If you accept that, then that game was one to compromise on. It's not as we're not points clear if in the unlikely circumstance that it all wents tits up. |

For me it mainly matters who his agent is when the same agent also represents another player that may involved in the same or related deal. In most other forms of business he'd have to declare a conflict of interest and only represent one side of any deal. |
