Heard a whisper last week but thought no way would Sia go. He's loved it here, loves the club and St. Helens but family comes first.



Think I'll cry when Sia goes.

Who to replace him ?



Glenn Stewart and Louie Anderson are off contract and the stand outs for me. Obviously the likes of Greewood will step up but if both Manu and Soliola leave, we will need a overseas star imo

Louis Anderson never plays as he's always injured.



Glenn Stewart is very very good player but can't see him coming.

On Twitter this morning he said he hadn't made up his mind yet. Will know within the month.

Whilst I appreciate his decision, surely he would of stuck out until the end of his contract next year?

As much as I'd like him to stay I don't blame him if it's family reasons and McManus being the gentlemen he is would not stand in his way.



I love Sia and I don't think we can replace him. It's not often you pick a overseas player that loves the club and town like sia.



I'm totally and utterly gutted.





I suspect he will go to the roosters to replace SBW.

Just read on sky sports news that he is going home at the end of this season for family reasons. Gutted, but am sure we can all understand his reasons. It has been, and continues to be, a pleasure to watch sia play for us.

When it's family you have to let them go.



It's not like he's just come over and is using it as an excuse to be released from a bad deal.



The good thing is he has done it the right way, he's let the club know well in advance and so they can start looking for a replacement with this in mind, rather than some who would string clubs along and then it's too late for the club to get someone in.



He could be replaced internally, but I think we will bring in at least 1 second rower as I think Manu is up this year too.
