In all honesty I felt the game last week could just have easily have gone your way. So whilst I am confident I wold hesitate to be arrogant and assume we just have to turn up.

I think at our best we're the best team in the comp by some margin.



But to win the GF we will need to be near are best and not get refereed out of the game.

We can win it. We should win it. But it still has to be earned. If we don't go out and earn it, we won't win it. Huddersfield's defeat in the CC just shows that a better side will lose if they don't do their jobs properly.

I've said before that other than leeds the only team i'd never write off is saints and as i posted friday night showed imo that these are still the best 2 teams in the comp!

There are threats from HKR,Giants and possibly wigan but if the top 2 maintain their play-off form it's between them 3 times in a row and given the last 2 yrs i'd back us again.

It only takes a slightly off performance from Leeds for this lot to be on the players back again. Mark my words.



Last season there were very few people in RL who didn't write Leeds off in the GF. The arrogance from Saints was astounding.



I got very good odds on Leeds and won £125.00 on the Leeds win. That's because I'm not a knee jerker who balances the whole rest of the season on the last game or a couple of injuries. Writing Leeds off because Lee Smith is at full back instead of Brent Webb is exceedingly disrespectful and some supporters they are. He embarrassed those people did Smithy.



But, to answer your question, nothing is cut and dried and Leeds could very possibly lose the GF, if we get there. That will be very embarrassing for a few people on here and will also trigger vitriol against the Leeds team again.

Could we lose on Friday, lets think Salford nothing to play for ,but nothing to lose throw the ball about with abandon and it comes off? they have good players Ratchford looking to make name for himself, Leeds uptight feeling they have to win, overconfident , YES we can lose on Friday the same goes for any game, as someone said if you supported Leeds before 2004 (our miracle year) you know only to well how it can go rapidly down the toilet.

Why would leeds fans not be confident? They just beat the second placed team, finishing top (probably), look OK on the injury front and will have suspended players back for play-offs.



I didn't hear anyone say they couldn't be beat.



Leeds have won grand finals against the 'favourites' so i'd imagine they'll be less inclined to be complacement.
