Ablett has also been one of our best players all season!
I agree it's definitely a straight choice between Kirke and Clarkson - personally I'd pick the latter's work rate over the former's bulk. |

If Eastwood is prop he should be very clearly told to keep the fancy stuff to a minimum and focus on not missing tackles and notdropping the ball.

TBH the thought of Ali & Eastwood both getting picked worries me. As you say, they can both be match winners but for me their deficiencies are too similar - pick them both and you've created quite a weak spot in terms of fitness & stamina. And believe me, it could be a very pacey game on Saturday, quite possibly played in hot conditions. That's the one major selectional dilemma in my book; I don't think any other, e.g. Donald v Smith, is likely to have a major influence on the outcome. |
