Quite. In comparison with many forwards of yesteryear Bailey is whiter than white. Given the benefit of seeing both eras I do wonder what people get their knickers in a twist about with Bailey.



He might push things occasionally but he's not exactly Les Boyd is he? Personally I'd rather see players play with a bit of aggression and there are quite a few forwards who could improve their games if they got a bit more aggressive in attack and defence. For me there are too many Chris Feather-esque players out there in today's game.

I love Bailey, nothnig better than having a hated player in your ranks. Most of the time I bet teams just wish they had someone like him. Also i find it ironic when Wigan and Bulls fans whinge about 'dirty' Bailey. Did they not have Mr Diry in Tez?

Looking at the stats Bailey conceded less penalties than Newton 2006-2009.



A more startling fact is that both players were only yellow carded once in 4 season.



I remember when Northern had at least one forward yellow carded per game 20 years go. The game has certainly cleaned up. It all rather makes the hysteria about Bailey seem more ridiculous.

I'd rather watch the likes of Luauki (sp) and Bailey playing chess than the likes of Chris feather playing Rugby.

Lauaki needs to calm himself down, but he is a powerhouse and clearly a massive attacking threat. 39 tackle busts and avaraging 8 metres per carry. Throw in Manu at the other side with his 45 tackle busts and we could have the most devastating back row in Superleague, Lauaki just needs to get his head right.

I thought Manu was your best player by a mile Sunday. We couldn't handle him.
