It would be interesting to know what the in-game odds at half time were for a Catalans win.



If I remember rightly, the 31 point Saints win prediction was made when they were about 10-12 points ahead about halfway through the game so it wasn't an unreasonable prediction (assuming that the 2nd half of the game would follow the first). Of course, we all know sport doesn't work that way.

I hear this all the time from impulsive punters who lump on sizeable stakes on a whim. They always tell you when they win, they are always betting with their previous winnings but they rarely (if ever) divulge their significant losses

I actually thought it was good. It wasn't there to predict the outcome of a game, it was to give an indication on the way that games following that pattern usually ended up. Unfortunately most people can't see beyond the numbers on the scoreboard for how a game is progressing
