If/when we win the cup, we will have beaten either the top 4 in the league or 4 out of the top 5 (us being the 5th) only one of which was at home. Would this be our best CC win ever in terms of quality of opposition?

99 we beat Wigan Saints and Bradford which was a tough way to do it.

It doesn't beat 99 IMO.



Knocked out reigning champs a man down, plus saints and bulls who were dominating the cc and super league at that time. Ok, granted london and widnes. But it isn't easy being MASSIVE favourites in a final against a nifty team.



None of wigan saints or bulls were very understrength either.

I've always felt it's the one to win!



It's steeped in history, shown on terrestrial TV....wembley.....it just sends the shivers down your neck!



Now that leeds have made it again it's just confirmed it all again for me.



The grand final is just a glorified end of season money spinning knock out competition.

That's the limit of my recollections of Leeds in CC Finals, I'd have to research earlier appearances.
