There were still plenty of us left at F/T so lets not get giddy and start exaggerating what really happened.

Wish I did leave 10 minutes early mind, Post Office Road is ridiculous to get away from.

Nowt to worry about is there really? a young side all learning, nah, no worries at all, quite promising actually. Ben Jones-Bishop stood out.

I thought Leeds very disappointing this afternoon. This was clearly Leeds's second string with a few first team additions, but presumably these are the players expected to fill any gaps caused by injury this season. For example, I didn't see anyone who looked capable of filling Burrow's, McGuire's or Peacocks boots. They were ordinary in the extreme given that they are full time and Fev are part time. At least two of their tries seemed to be courtesy of Mr Silverwood feeling sorry for them. Any flowing football was played by Fev. I'm not sure how well we'll do this season without Briggs though.

Burrow ,Mcguire and Peacock are elite players at our club and no-one will/would "fill their boots" but the squads versatillity will allow us to get by without them i.e Sinfield is at 6 for Mcguire and Cross will take a lot of the workload that JP gets through allowing Kylie and co to go back to doing their "stints".

If by bad luck we also lost Burrow then Webb would go to 7 with Bjb who is more than capable would fill in at FB.

By the way don't be so harsh on Fev we were disappointing partly because Fev started like a house on fire ,never let us settle and punished every mistake we made.

We kept Leeds scoreless first half - and they had the advantage of the slope.

Certainly one of Leeds tries was courtesy of Silverwood, the Leeds player got to his feet and was about the play the ball when Silverwood awarded them a try. Laughable but not funny.
