One of Kippax u14's coaches is Danny Orr.Apparently 7 Kippax players have been offered terms at various clubs.

Leeds refused to sign up to Embed The Pathway,stating the foundation do similar work and they now have an "elite" program for u13's headed up by Francis Cummins.

That's interesting. I would be interested in observing some of these sessions. As I mentioned I have observed some of the Embedded Pathway work that goes on and it's interesting some of the approaches used for developing players, in particular skill acquisition. If any of the posters on here wouldn't mind me coming to view some sessions that would be awesome. I am a professional golf coach by trade but love rugby league and coaching and developing young athletes is my passion. Happy to reciprocate some of my knowledge as skill acquisition is massively important across the board in all sports and if you think I can be of help it would be great to meet up. I don't think Danny is "officially" one of the coaches. He helps out with training as his son Euan plays for them. But he isn't always at matches. Be interesting to see who the seven are, two really stand out.

I know one is going to Wigan and I think he's one of the two standout players you mention.

Do my head in Wigan. Keep coming over here and picking up one or two each season. Not sure how the parents do the travel.

To be fair, you could say the same about Leeds picking up the likes of Watkins and Singleton.

Not really, as Watkins was a one off, and Singleton was from the Cumbrian academy that everyone had dibs on. Wigan are doing it each year, East Leeds lads and Stanley Rangers lads, now Kippax.

Not Wigan area. And like I said, one offs. Wigan are taking players each and every year from this local area. Like I said do's my head in.

Gotcha I have watched all the 16s games and my son plays under 15s so pretty much have seen all the players in Div 1 of the Yorkshire league, I would say the only real stand out player imho whom Wigan got over Leeds is Morgan Smithies.

Leeds managed to get pretty much everyone they went for inc poaching players from Lock Lane from under Cas noses and if anyone hasn't been to see the 16s play yet really should, This team beat the apparently unbeatable Warrington U16s pretty convincingly this with I think 8 Under 15s in the team.



Fixture to defiantly go to for me is the next one Leeds V Cas I think is at Headingley a week on Wednesday
