Yea, there's no way they sell before the ground is finished.
Steinson was also promoted from Leeds' technical director, to head of 49er's international operations a few months ago, so if AG does go, they'll probably look for a CEO with experience of working in a multi-club model.

Looks like a decision will be made as late as possible on Solomon for Sheff Utd. One things for sure, that red cross on his ankle will have got a lot bigger if he’s declared fit and selected. If not I’d probably go with Gnonto as a replacement for this one. He’s a bit better defensively than Ramazani and has played in a few of these type of games.

win our 6 remaing home games we are on 90 points. that should about do it, although 3 away wins will ensure it.
that's why I think tomorrow isn't a must win. a win would be brilliant, a draw perfectly acceptable.
I don't think we'll lose.
and as I said before £43 a ticket is disgracful. add losing half a day's pay it's a dear game

Agree Tad, a draw is a good result but I do think we can win this and really put some daylight between us. I’m relatively relaxed about it though, we’ve a good gap to 3rd at this stage.
agree Owl on Gnonto. Ramazanni was looking pretty damn good early in the season but he’s very rusty now with the lack of minutes.

I'd take a draw too, we cant afford to lose this tho.
I think Ramanazi will start if Solomon is ruled out, but think this could all be mind games.
I'd like to see more of Ramanazi, I think he could be our best winger when match fit and in form.

Absolutely massive result. That felt like the 70’s all over again with those iconic yellow shirts bossing the show in the 2nd half. Great team effort again, but Firpo was excellent and Rodon was a rock when we were under the pump. Pleased that Ao got his goal, think he carried the midfield in the first half, Gruev looked out of his depth to be honest tonight. Dan James does was he does best and terrorised them that 2nd half when we needed a spark. We all enjoy a strike like Piroe’s and it was a great way to put them to bed. Will sleep well tonight after that.

Great result, first 30mins they rattled us, but once we settled they could not deal with us, and they burnt themselves out. Meslier had a shakey start, felt sorry for him with the goal as the first save was brilliant, but he grew into the game as well and had a better second half.Firpo excellent again, strikers finish and the assist for Tanaka. Piroe's goal was a beauty, best one hes struck all season. |

Morning chaps. What a win that was. I sank a few beers after watching that... couldn't sleep after :) credit to Sheff U, they came out hard and rattled us a bit but goodness me what a response, especially given no Manager on the sidelines and losing our capt in the run up to the game... that made it even more special. They're a very good team these boys of ours... incredible belief, workrate, mentality and ability. Sheff U couldn't maintain they're start, weren't good enough to do so. Our subs were superb, there's not so, Bogle and James ran Hamer ragged when he came on. Oh and i'd offer Firpo a new deal if we haven't already, not saying he's brilliant at PL level (if we get there, not counting chickens yet etc) but he's more than useful in the squad. He looks a much better player under Farke. Thought he deserved the MOM. One fly in ointment is Ampadu injury, Farke says may need an Op. Need to pray no other CB's get injured... not going in for one in Jan now looks very risky given Wober's injury record. |

Well I`ve been away for 3 weeks and so impressed with the results we have produced during that time. After being on the go for almost 30 hours and arriving home yesterday with a chuffing flu virus I was determined to watch the game. Couldn`t believe the Meslier howler and was starting to think it`s me jinxing the team. But a top class team performance got us home comfortably in the end. Firpo my MoM. Losing Ampadu is going to be a blow as Gruev doesn`t appear up to it. Agree Hamer should have got a second yellow for the foul on Rodon. Tanaka no way a yellow. Good substitutions again by Farke. Shame that Joseph just doesn`t seem to be the player I thought he would be. Rodon very good at the back again. |
