I am a Hull fan who really didnt care who won today!
Didnt Coley rightly get penalised for lifting the player above the horizontal? Not sure what your point is tbh.

Back of last weeks League Express is a picture of Andy Raleigh in exactly same position, guess what no penalty, maybe it's the different decisions for the same offences?.
Well done to Danny "Ronaldo" McGuire for the rolling around on the floor till Farrell was sent off (Wrong decision IMO as he was committed to the challenge)
Senior incident was correct decision IMO as not intentional as was messing at PTB but can't kick out.

| I also thought the ref had a good game. When you consider the weather and the fact that was the ball stripped or was it a knock on i think he got most of the calls correct. the pen count may well of been high but it was not a dirty game.Just played at a high intensity that lead to a lot of errors from both teams.

My point is you failed to mention the Coley incident but thought JP should have had a yellow. Did you think Coley's incident was far less worse than JP's and did not warrant a mention?

| Quote Hacked Off="Hacked Off"Yes there was no intention by Senior, just unlucky the guy got caught. BBC and Davis gave it some airtime in their post match analysis, though no mention of the dangerous tackle on Delany in the first half though. cant remember who the Wigan player who did it was but Im assuming it will be a trip to Red Hall for a two match ban?'"
Does Jonathan Davis EVER have a nice word to say about Leeds like?? It's a wonder no one chucked something at that Bradford/Hudd/Salford reject Robbie Paul in the interview with him and Senior afterwards too!! At least John Kear tried to remain impartial!

Regards the incident it was dealt with in the correct way for me, who is at the moment a slightly gutted Wigan fan. Silly play by Senior to kick his legs that high but no real intent, although I expect he will get a letter warning him about kicking out in future.
The Smith knock on in the build up to the Tomkins no try that Ganson ignored and the Farrell sin binning were 2 very contentious calls though for me.
At the end of the day though the game was there to be won by both sides and Leeds found a reason to win it, where as Wigan seemed content to defend the slender lead they had rather that trying to go out to win it. Congratulations and good luck in the rest of the cup.

Yes I think stopping a player by tackling him around the head is more serious then the Coley incident and as I said more serious then the Farrell charge down.
I was under the impression that high shots would be dealt with more severely but clearly not. (Peacocks was not malicious but very high!)
Compare the penalties that Farrell and Peacock gave away and do you seriously think there is consistancy there?

| The Farrell incident should not have been a penalty never mind a sin bin.

| It was an accident but you shouldn't be kicking out like that in the tackle IMO. Keith senior, laying on the floor, his foot connected with joel tomkins who was stood up. For me that shouldn't be happening and they should outlaw kicking out in the tackle like that.

I agree. But it's something they should look at changing. Kicking out like that should be a sinbin.
Theres absolutly no reason seniors feet should get anywhere near the head of an opposing player when he's on the floor during a tackle.
