I'd imagine if leeds don't win super league this year the universe will implode and everyone will die.

Done by a club that cheated the salary cap for 5 years. We shouldn't be suprised.

I think 4th will be our best finish not at least. Think we can get to 4th but i have a feeling 5th or 6th.

I've had a beleif that Leeds have treated the weekly rounds as more like a contested training session than a league to win for a few seasons now.



Last year we had awful disipline, then in August it suddenly changed.



By this point last year we had lost 4 games, and won the league shield by 2 or 4 points (memory fails me). We had 1 defeat in 12 games at the end of the season, followed by the play-offs.



But what many people don't see is that its not a fluke that we put in the best performance of the season in the game that would eliminate us from a competition.



The days of busting out of the traps, leading the league for 6 months then being too knackered to contest the silverware are behind us.



It may not be fair for the loyal fans who pour money into the club, but the club is only interested in winning pots, and have chosen to do this by only taking 5-6 games a season at 100%

Honestly I think that entire post is a ridiculous thing to say. Arrogance.



To say we treat the weekly rounds as a contested training session is highly disrespectful to a whole bunch of things, but mainly the players who put their body on the line each week and the opposition we beat by doing so along the way.



I think people get carried away now with this whole ''leeds...big game team anywhere anytime in the playoffs'' just because we've had fantastic recent success in the playoffs.



It's always been built on a foundation of finishing in the top 2.



This year we are well off the pace for that.

Actually what he said is spot on, and I don't see what is arrogant about his post.



It's not as if he is saying we are doing different this year, he backed it up with that we have been doing it previous years.

No it isn't spot on at all. It's arrogant because it suggests leeds essentially only play at 100% for a few games each season. Claiming leeds treat the weekly rounds as a contested training session is disrespectful to the opposition no matter how you want to spin it and theres no truth in it. Just because leeds have managed to turn up on the big day the last 3 seasons doesn't mean they were deliberatly playing within themselves earlier in the season.

He said, the team that ends the season is far different to the one playing through the regular rounds. That is spot on.



What we are seeing this season is no different to previous seasons as far as Leeds are concerned. What is different is that the oppossition are at a different level to previously.

i would agree too. also had we not had such a bad run of injuries we would robably be 4 points better off and the table would look entirely different
