Not sure it was ever a real threat to barge over from McDonald, but he certainly had an instinct for the line. Whether a barge, or a break or a long reach, he got more than his fair share.
With Bradford, I thought it was the brains of Lowes that gave that threat. He could dive himself, he could pass long, he could move then turn the ball back inside, he could even kick. Unfortunately, he was far better at it when at Bradford than when at Leeds.
Cunningham was another level entirely. You knew what he was going to do, but couldn't do anything about it. It's unfortunate that injuries meant we never saw the best of him at international level.
McShane seems to have a good wide field of vision, and a few tricks in his locker.
