Work appears to going on at the two areas affected by safety issues at the moment. When I spoke to one of the "suits" at the ground today he said the areas were undergoing remedial work and the entire South Stand would be open for the Hull.k.R game.

All the work was going on in both corners, the "suit" said both areas would be open for the first league game (H.K.R). I'm chuffed to be honest, I think the old stand is a lot more atmospheric that what the downsized version would have been. I know there's a few stanchions that can impede your view but it has an atmosphere all of its own now most of the other clubs have soulless identikit stadiums.

Agreed if all we are going to get is a smaller paler imitation,then why not strengthen and improve what weve got?

The Manly team will not have encountered anything as intimidating in their careers when they run out for the W.C.C. The Aussies always say how much more vocal and passionate English grounds are compared to the ones back in Oz, just wait till they run out in front of a sell out headingley and a packed South stand.

Having watched NRL games live down under, and watched many on TV, I can definetly see the WCC game been the best atmosphere that most of the Aussies will have ever encountered.
