I thought Hood had gone on loan to Dewsbury

interesting. presumably Hood would come in if Burrow is not fit

Dual registered, if he's not needed by us he can play for Dewsbury.

He has but it's on dual registration. If we want/need him he can play for us, if we don't need him he can play for Dewsbury.



Must admit its puzzling that Hood is included hours after the Dewsbury announcement yet McShane doesn't make the 19



I feared for McShane when he want off with his injury on Friday but he came back in the 2nd half. Maybe he's had a relapse or maybe his face doesn't fit at the moment

Reckon burrow will play a part, says on website going to see consultant about cheek on thursday, so if they were expecting worst dont think they would of included him in 19.

Tony Smith used to deliberately name injured players in his 19 knowing full well that they wouldn't play, just to throw the opposition off the scent.



I wouldn't surprise me if Burrow doesn't make the team sheet at all on Friday.

Me neither. No point in risking him so early in the season.

I agree why pick Burrow for this one especially as his eye is practically closed and the swelling on his cheek is like a cricket ball.

Good target practice for the big Catalan pack.

I do fear for McShane too as he has not yet been given the game time to prove himself and for me he has started to show glimpses of what he can do given more time on the field.

Hood is likely to be a better player long term but again putting him out on loan then naming him in the squad is a little mis leading.

Lunt too will have to learn alot of the plays Rhinos use on matchday and 2 days practice just does not seem long enough.

I don't think Robbie will play, in that case hood on the bench. I would also put Moore on the bench instead of smith, the cat's have a big hard hitting pack and we need to meet them with as much size as possible

I could see both Hood and Burrow dropping out and McShane called back into the squad for this one.

Smith or Clarkson to drop out as well.

What exactly is the point of the 19man squad? Players not included in it play in the matchday 17 quite often. Just let the coach pick whoever they want to pick when it comes to ko. Unless you say if 3 of the players get injured you have to play with only 16, which would very harsh and a bit stupid I dont see its purpose.



Saves time and money that could be better used elsewhere. Pointless admin costs.

It's to stop like Saints did a few years ago at Bradford and turn up with a second team without telling their fans that travelled over. So fans can tell if it's a decent team put out or not.



And wasted time and money? Seriously? It's writing down 19 names. It's hardly a dissertation.
