I recall that there were occasional suggestions that we should sign him during our centre crisis last season. Thank god the people that run our club have a little more sense.

Takes me back to 2004 when two Rhinos players were busted for ephedrine use. Slap on the wrist for both players because both had declared it's use whilst in camp with GB in order to overcome a flu/gastric virus... allegedly. Of course, it turns out it was being taken on a regular basis, and as a matter of routine immediately prior to each game by several Rhinos players during their 2004 title winning season. The truth has a tendency to come out when an autobiography is out on the market in the push for sales.



Thank god the people who run the club have huge brushes and incredibly thick carpets... if you get my drift.



It is to be hoped that Gleeson isn't cast adrift completely like Terry Newton was.

It wasn't being used as a cold cure by some Rhinos players in 2004. It was being used as a matter of routine on matchdays. If you're uncomfortable with this, take it up with Keith Senior.

I haven't suggested I am uncomfortable with it, far from it, nor seemingly are Aussie RL players or their governing body.

... and I suppose that because this unsubstantiated revelation appeared in an ex-Leeds player's autobiography then it must true.

I didn't expect you to be uncomfortable with rhinos players taking ephedrine as a cold cure. Of course, it's now been established they weren't taking it as cold cure but as part of a routine on matchday, despite claiming otherwise back in 2004.
