Not sure he would be the same player without the ego/baggage? His ability is unquestionable, when he wants to. Be honest, if you could have stuck Mason into our pack on Saturday, would you have, ego/baggage or not?

If you take Mason out of the NRL you might find his attitude changes. It's a bit of a pressure cooker atmosphere over there, and the players status is more akin to that of Premiership footballers. They're local celebrities and unfortunately they abuse that status sometimes. Over here he'll find he can lead a more normal life.



Saying that it would still be a risky signing for whoever gets him.

SBW's ability is unqustionable as well but as with Mason he's a show pony and all out for himself and not a team man. Such a player IMO would/should never be invited to join the Rhinos family by GH no matter what ability he might have the few times he wants to show it.



Would Mason even get a Visa to get into the UK? Eastwood is snow white in comparison to Mason and look at the problems he had.



I really cannot see that there is anything in this and the thread on the Hull KR forum is clearly a wind up of the friend of a mates boyfriend's best pals brothers sons hamster variety.

Not happening he's using the alleged SL interest to get a new NRL deal and besides even if he did come over it's Rovers or Giants he'll end up at and i would'nt want him.
