Having analysed all the SL dream teams I've come up with this team of the decade based on the number of times players have been selected in the dream team, using my own judgement/bias where players have the same number of selections.

I think that's a pretty decent team

I reckon most supporters of any team other than Leeds would question the inclusion of 3 or 4 players in that selection

I'd consider swapping Donald for Vaikona, Harris for Radlinski, Long for Burrow, and Scully P for Sinfield but its all very debatable

I'd have Bang in there somewhere.

I deliberately left out Farrell, he was not the player post 2000 he was before, and his "sympathy" MOS award was a complete joke. I went for guys like Vagana, Pryce and Gilmour because they have been players who have contributed consistantly high levels of performance across the entire decade.

Consistantly high levels of performance?



Except when it really matters........

9 grand finals and 4 winners rings (not to mention the three CC winners medals with Saints) a Harry Sunderland and Lance Todd award would suggest you don't know what you're talking about.

Being on the pitch in the grand final and actually producing a 'high level of performance' are totally different things.



I.e. the last 3 Grand Finals how did Leon play?



He's hardly consistent on the big stage is he.
