That is the problem, he is honest about it in the article and I can understand why he is looking at his options elsewhere as he wants 2 years but I can understand why the club will only offer one and I agree with that.
I would be worried - simply because of his age more than anything - if they offered him a two year deal, but would have no worries about a one year deal with the possibility of another year if the club felt that would right at the time. |
