I think we're stronger in defence with Owen at fullback. He seems to coordinate things better and get the gaps filled, whereas Goldy just doesn't bother.

I think he means Huddersfield player of the year.

Said it before, in Owen we have a player who could develop in a great fullback,one who could push for international honours.



If next season T.M sticks him out on the wing to accomadate Mcgoldrick at fullback it looks to me he is putting his friendship with ryan over the teams best interests

The thing is though owen can play on the wing fantastically too, its about getting the right balance in the team.

Mcgoldrick was bought as a centre and should play there...less running across the field crab like then.

Maybe he wouldnt have had to as owen would have been on the wing covering it.





Just because a player was signed to play one position it doesnt mean he should never play anywhere else should dixon have remained in the centres, should lupton have been kept in the halfs, should shenny have stayed on the wing?



If we have shenton and owen together on the wing we have one of the best combinations in sl, if not we have shenton paired with wainwright/thompson a far less daunting prospect for opposition teams. whats more if the dixon rumours are tru at the start of the season we would have thmpson on one wing and snowie on the other, not at all good.
