The ACCUSATION will be put in the match report, pending an investigation. There's as many people on here saying that he was just given the verbals as there are saying he was "assaulted"....Innocent until proven guilty matey, unless you have proof that is??

you mean like Owen handing the missile to a steward and pointing out the exact person who threw it?

Were they arrested and detained then for this assault? Seen as you saw it all

I watched Owen approach the steward at half time, he didn't physically hand anything to him he just went over to him to complain. I then watched the steward and a colleague approach the end of the ground were the Hull fans where stood. He was right in front of us and only had his radio in his hand nothing else.

I was stood next to the incident and would class myself as a relatively unbiased individual! The incident occurred when a middle aged coward from Hull threw his pint at a teenage Cas fan next to the railings. Owen became aware of this and was in my opinion sticking up for the lad. The plastic holder did end up on the pitch and unfortunately as soon as the the stewards arrived the coward had done one. For what it's worth I and several other Hull fans apologised to the Cas teenage who was totally blameless.

The stewards did pass us in the second half clearly looking for someone so i think they have a good idea of what the culprit looks like.

So one person allegedly throws beer,and we are ALL a disgrace?,interesting.

While we are on the subject and this is by way of a warning.



I was in the Princess st stand 40m line nearest the scoreboard and there usually a few Cas supporters mixed in and its all ok. Today we had an "older gentleman" who was a danger to himself by constant stream of abuse to the FC fans around him. He was not really watching the game that much and missed things as he was far too interested in winding everyone around him up. No thankfully the fans where very good and did not react much, but I can see instances where this nasty little man could cause chaos. He was very rude to a mother and children and she told him to go away and I think by half time he needed a new set of victims. I talked to a couple of Cas lads stood near us and they told me he was always in there and always winding fans up.



He needs your help, because this guy is going to get with a few people who do not suffer fools gladly if you get my drift.



It did not spoil mine or anyone elses day at Cas, its always a good run out and I always enjoy the friendly banter, beer and atmosphere.
