Er... no. Really. None at all. Every match he plays in I hate him a little bit more. His attack on Cunningham a few weeks ago was one one the biggest cheap shots I have ever seen. If someone hit him like that he would be on his backside for a week.

I thought he coped with it fine. He got up and went on to have a mom preformence.

i rate tomkins, he is a great player, but really lets himself down and lowers the game by reverting to the stupid dives. refs will soon get wise to him. .thought chase was good but was let down by others round him, cutting down his options. at one point he ran nearly the width of the field looking for runners and ended up getting caught with the ball. by the way tomkins last try, i could have scored it.

Basically there is only one way this thread is going to go from here now that the Wigan fans have got home.



Wigan fans will play the "you're only jealous that we have him" card and we'll continue to say "he's a decent player, but essentially he's also a w**ker"



I'm not particularly jealous because I don't like him and he's certainly not the sort I would want to see wearing a Cas shirt.

Your right he is a diver. I counted him diving over the line three times tonight after making your defence look even more ordinary than Leeds did last week.

As a Warrington fan it kills me to say this but I think Tomkins can be as good as he wants to be.



He may not be the finished article but there aren't mant sides in the world that wouldn't want him.



He has an awful attitude and is the sort of player that every fan (apart from Wigans) wants to see get smashed. But for me, that is the sign of a good half back. Someone who can wind the opposition up.

That just about sums it up, fantastic young player but a horrible little so & so to boot.

good player now with the potential to be a super star he took westerman in paticular appart tonight and without him cas would have won the game.i dont like him the way he as the sulky attitude but good players arnt often liked by many other than the fans of the clubs they play for.

Spot on buddy, as a Wigan fan he's a great player for us and whether people think he's got an attitude or not, he's got the playing ability to match it, the players fans should dislike are those who have an attitude and no talent.

I thought that Sam Tomkins had a great game and was the difference between the sides tonight. The Goons just seemed to have an extra gear when needed and most times Tomkins was at the centre of the move when that higher gear was selected.
