Jamie Peacock even said himself that the WCC only started to half-mean something to the Aussies about four years ago. Even with SL clubs, nobody cares about it outside the week it's played. In April or August you never hear anyone say "let's win SL and get to that World Club Challenge"...it's about Wembley and Old Trafford, that's it.
