From how I am lead to believe there is still a shortfall in funds to start building? From reading that Wakey & Cas boards of late - I understand that Cas have near guaranteed Planning Permission and a shortage of cash whereas Wakey have full funding but no planning permission?

dont worry we have the money to build a stadium that meets rfl`s requirments.

Excuse my complete ignorance in the planning application laws, but does this put you in any different position to Wakefield, who have made a planning appliction, which has been called for government approval?



After all by submitting a planning application you are not guaranteed that the council will approve it?

Outline planning permission has already been granted for us. This is just handing in the final designs for the OK.

And this land isnt greenbelt, has already been earmarked for development, and the stadium has no objections to it.

Wakefield have no planning permission, Cas do. This is the final sign off of decisions so that we can get full planning permission.



Wakey have applied for outline planning permission, which has been referred to the SoS. If they get that confirmed they will still have to go through the full planning permission process that Cas are going through now.
