I echo many of the comments above, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the lads really getting 'stuck in' last night! A fantastic 'team based'.....never say die attitude. Just what Cas and all RL fans love to see!
The only down side was Emmitt being taken off injured. That lad really is a work horse, both in tackling and driving the ball in. Fingers crossed that it is only minor.

WRONG! I was there. As were a couple of hundred others, who I seem to remember made a lot more noise than your 12000+ in the first half, well except when you were all whinging about stuff. Not bad for a Wednesday night on Sky and certainly not anything a Wigan fan can complain about after it was your club who demanded the fixture take place last night.
How many would you have brought to Cas on a Wednesday night if it was on Sky and you were missing half your first team squad?
It was an outstanding effort from our young players last night, with a bit of inexperience being our undoing in the end. With one or two older heads back, it'd have been our game. |

When else do you suggest we could have played it, we have aspirations of seeing the challenge cup through so I don't see many free weekends on the horizon!

Get a grip!! We always bring FAR more than a couple of hundred, but having said that compare fans going to the wheldon, jungle probiz colliseum stadium with fans going to the DW you'd have thought fans would be happy to come and see a proper stadium!
There are free weekends in august yes and we do plan on seeing the challenge cup through but who's to say it's not going to happen?? |
