Hope it went well, sorry I could not be there but had an important event today in York.

Hope fans get involved as this is a great way for us to back our club, remember we have no Des Johnson, Steve O'Connor and the like to throw money when we need it, we just have hard working people to raise the money in the pot when we need it. Its hard graft and the Board need our support to keep Fax at the top.

I would just like to thank all of you that came to the pledge event tonight and also people who have made pledges that could not be there. I was expecting the auction and other things to make less than half what it did actually make on the night I was astounded. I have not as yet heard the official figure but I do know it was around £1,500 but more importantly the pledges for the sponsored walk and other events were equally as impressive and in real terms tonights contribution to Faxbuilder was indeed massive.

I would also like to thank Jamie Bloem , Johnny Lawless, Martin Gonzales , Ben Black , Frank Watene and Josh Barlow who turned up in support and Oli Marnes who sent messages of apologies as he was stuck in Goole. He has promised to do something at a later date and we will get him along at another event.

This is just the start, if we all spread the word and build up the momentum I reckon we will by the end of the season have the money raised.So thanks again Fax fans and keep watching this board for further news.

A night to be proud of tonight and a superb start to the Faxbuilder! Bloemy was a star this evening! We secured new trust members, interest in the sponsored walk and some individuals really dug deep into their pockets tonight all to help us raise our magic 25k figure!! So much more planned too!! Great success this evening, giving us a superb platform to build from!!

One of the Pledge items last night did not get sold due to short notice as it is this Sat night were 4x £21 tickets for the Royal Albert Halls` Classical Spectacular it is a great pity as it looks like a good show . Anybody interested please pm me.

Something mentioned on the Club Site's article about the pledge night is the 250 Club, could someone shed some light on this?

I think it was explained that if 250 people pledged £100 then we would have the money we need. Dont know if there are any benifits etc?

Great night last night as I was sat at the pledge desk and was involved with people filling the forms in. I will be giving details on the sponsored walk to Batley/Dewsbury when the fixtures are out.
